How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) Season 3 Review

How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) season 3 outdoes everything it did in the past two seasons in the most ridiculous way possible. With twice the amount of humor, arcs and thrill, this latest season comes full circle and successfully culminates the story it began to tell in the beginning of season 1.

Even when I don’t see a linear prospect of season 4 after this, I have formed a bond with these characters that is going to leave me craving more of MyDrugs for a very long time. However, this is not to say that it is devoid of plot allowances and conveniences, and it does Segway a lot to arrive at a concrete ending which now stands at some rather weak foundations.

But I feel like the sum of all parts outweighs the little it sacrificed on the way and like every other season, How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) utilizes the stuff that it does the best, such as, mesmerizing editing and sequences, character banter and the constant thrill and comedy which it very effectively balances.

The Season 3 of How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) begins with effective demolition of MyDrugs by Lenny (Played by Danilo Kamperidis) and this leaves Moritz (Played by Maximilian Mundt) in a very dicey situation. The pressure from the Netherland cartel is growing heavy on his shoulders, and his falling out with Lenny and Daniel (Played by Damian Hardung) has left him out of all the support and rendered him terribly lonely.

The whole class goes to a camp and Moritz, who now has no one to talk to, sits alone in a bus, trying to bring back the site. In all of his loneliness, Lisa (Played by Lena Klenke) tries to maintain touch with him and even after all that their relationship has gone through, they still see eye to eye in some aspects.

Only later do we understand her ulterior motive behind befriending Moritz. The season 3 portrays the biggest jump in character for Moritz in terms of dealing with his egos, playing a CEO, and actually getting everything under his control for once. In season 2 of How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast), we saw that Moritz does, in fact, get in jail, and the entire season 3 works towards how he gets to that place.

How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) Season 3 Review

How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) Season 3: A Beautiful, Back & Forth, Friendship

The trauma of being left alone is what the show leans upon when it showcases that, due to all his mistakes and ego issues, Moritz is now left without anyone by his side. His wrongdoings and his thirst for power and authority soon catches up to him in a way that he doesn’t quite like.

The team which began MyDrugs is now broken apart like The Beatles, and the other 3 members are now building their own drug venture. He struggles to talk with them, and then he struggles to share a room with them, which forces him to sleep in a forest which harbors nothing but allergies for him. But at the same time, How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) season 3, subtly showcases how Lenny and Moritz are quite inseparable in a way.

When Daniel and Kira (Played by Lena Urzendowsky) are more than happy to leave Mortiz out of the equation, Lenny is hardly content with the entire situation. His entire goal in the show is to have a good time with his friends before he eventually dies due to cancer, and even when he is in the most need of money in the entire group, he hardly began the venture due to it.

And Moritz is someone who has always gone back and forth with messing up in a situation and then apologizing for it, but by the end of Season 3, he gets to finally redeem himself by doing right by the one person who has always been by his side.

The colourfully enticing editing and the Gen Z friendly humor is prevalent throughout the season, but I feel like the references, especially the gaming ones were a lot lesser than what we had in season 2, wherein an entire scene played to the theme of Skyrim, which sent literal shivers down me.

The show has a way of very effectively portraying the goods and bads of the Internet, but I feel like that has become too vague of a statement to describe How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) on a whole. This installment isn’t as much about the internet or drugs as it is about friendships and tying loose ends. And in order to tie those loose ends, the show does take a few routes which I wasn’t necessarily fond of.

Firstly, there are a lot of plot allowances which impact the journey of these characters, and even though this show was always over the top to begin with, by the ending of the season it starts to feel more like a dream than a reality. And I wasn’t quite sold on how they changed Lisa’s character, and in some ways, reduced her.

During the entire season, she works towards a goal which feels forced and a tad bit stupid, in the wide scope of things. Not trying to take away from the fact that it wasn’t nearly essential, but it did feel a bit forced and unlike her.

The Season 3 of How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) culminates in a way that it wraps everything up while still leaving room for more. It is one of the most visually appealing shows I have seen and I must applaud the amount of technical detail that goes into each and every shot. It’s surreal watching a show with references that are right up my alley.

It tells a story of friendships, love and broken relationships, and while not everything ends happily, it is safe to say that everyone eventually got what they deserved in a good and bad way. If I were to convince someone to get into the show, I would simply describe it as Breaking Bad for Gen Z, which is very much its own thing, and is one of the freshest and most relevant pieces of television which is currently streaming on Netflix.

The Movie Culture Synopsis

How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) season 3 is ridiculously fun and over the top. It also manages to be quite deep and introspective in the subtle hindsight and while the show does take a lot of weird directions, the way it all falls into place pays off for everything, big time.

Featuring terrific performances and accurate representation of technology and internet (which still is a very rare sight in Television), How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) is a show tailor made for Youngsters with big dreams and bad decisions.
