Into The Comic World

The Boys Vs The Umbrella Academy as you know , these shows are based on comics. The comics are as good as the shows and one would enjoy reading them. The Umbrella Academy –  Created and written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá. The first six-issue limited series, The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite, was released by Dark Horse Comics between September 14, 2007 and February 20, 2008. It won the 2008 Eisner Award for Best Finite Series/Limited Series. A second series, The Umbrella Academy: Dallas, followed in 2008.

After a hiatus the series returned in 2018 with The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion released between October 3, 2018 and June 12, 2019. A proposed fourth series is in development to be released in 2020.

On February 15, 2019 a television adaptation premiered on Netflix. In June 2019, Dark Horse Comics announced that they had partnered with Studio71 to make a card game based on The Umbrella Academy.

The Boys – Written by Garth Ennis and co-created, designed, and illustrated by Darick Robertson. It was originally published by Wildstorm (DC Comics) before moving to Dynamite Entertainment.

The series is set between 2006–2008 in a world where superheroes exist. However, most of the superheroes in the series’ universe are corrupted by their celebrity status and often engage in reckless behavior, compromising the safety of the world.

The story follows a small clandestine CIA squad, informally known as “The Boys”, led by Butcher and also consisting of Mother’s Milk, the Frenchman, the Female, and new addition “Wee” Hughie Campbell, who are charged with monitoring the superhero community, often leading to gruesome confrontations and dreadful results; in parallel, a key subplot follows Annie “Starlight” January, a young and naive superhero who joins the Seven, the most prestigious – and corrupted – superhero group in the world and The Boys’ most powerful enemies.

Ennis has said that The Boys would “out-Preacher Preacher”, presumably referring to the extreme violence and sexuality that were that series’ hallmark. Started in October 2006, the series concluded in November 2012 with the release of the 72nd and final issue. The book was adapted by Amazon Studios into a television series, which premiered on July 26, 2019.

The Movie Culture obviously also liked The Boys more than The Umbrella Academy. The Boys have got the THE SPICE, and The Umbrella Academy is CUTE like we love KLAUS and Number 5 and even Vanya a little bit.

BUT we LOVE BILLY BUTCHER along with Hugie and FRENCHIE. They’re all such great characters played by stunning actors and we admire them alot.

Adorable shows , they’re both a must watch!!According to us and guess according to all The Boys fans , the feeling, the vibe this show gives off is SMASHING bruhh.

And about The Umbrella Academy , this show is…how does Vanya says? Yeah, EXTRAORDINARY!! We love them both and you’ll do too. Just that you can watch The Umbrella Academy with your family and maybe even your younger siblings BUT The Boys , you either watch it with your friends or the people who don’t mind violence and gore and language.
