The Haunting Of Bly Manor Series Review
Mike Flanagan follows up his first in the horror anthology with The Haunting of Bly Manor, a Gothic Romance-influenced ghost story based on Henry James novella The Turn of The Screw. The cast is “perfectly splendid”. This is nowhere near as scary as Hill House but it’s good in its own way. We loved the perfectly gothic look of the Bly Manor and the vibe this show gave off!
Well we don’t wanna spoil anything , so this story is about how the Bly Manor finds its “Haunting”. All the 9 episodes are about all the characters that are in this story , one by one their deep dark and terrifying secrets are revealed. This whole show may seem long but the details and work is amazing.
Dani Clayton played by the beautiful Victoria Pedretti , a young American au pair with just as many secrets as the family she’s hired to work for finds herself in a THE gorgeous BLY MANOR to take care of Miles and Flora Wingrave, played by the brilliantly charming Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Amelie Smith.
But it’s not all what it seems like with everyone having their own secrets. Flanagan remarkably showcases every character and their back stories one by one , this show is hypnotic and makes you feel the sadness and trauma that character feels.
An adaption from the following television films The Innocents 1961, The Turn of the Screw 1974, The Turn of the Screw 2009 .

The Movie Culture Synopsis
This is one gorgeous show you’d love to watch as it’s spooky season now. Flanagan did a remarkable job with all the details and a beautiful tragic story or let’s say stories with meticulous attention characters more haunted than the house even adding more interesting stuff like the narrative/storytelling, makes it more intense and exciting.
Even though Bly Manor is nothing scary as compared to as of Hill House but it’s a beautiful horror romance drama that one would want to sit and watch. This show is a whole puzzle you just have to find the right pieces at the right time. This show is “perfectly splendid as well as perfectly dreadful” as the gorgeous little Flora Wingrave says.
